A popular rock band that originally formed in Melbourne are returning home for a live concert.
Music fans from Springvale and other Melbourne suburbs will soon get the chance to see the internationally famous group Crowded House perform their hits. Renowned for their live appearances, the band are well-known for audience participation and helping the crowd perform three-part harmonies.
Tour promoters sometimes employ banner printing services to produce signage for major live events like this taking place at auditoriums and arenas.
In 1985, Neil Finn, the songwriter, singer and guitarist, joined band mates Paul Hester and Neil Seymour to form Crowded House in Melbourne. The musical group rose to fame both nationally and internationally, enjoying major success in Australia, New Zealand, America and Britain. Singles like “Don’t Dream it’s Over”, “Weather with You” and “Something Strong” rocketed into the charts, earning top 10 hits for the band.
The most recent incarnation of Crowded House combines musicians from the US, Australia and New Zealand and includes the two sons of Finn, who has been a constant member of the band since its inception.
The latest line-up of Crowded House will be on stage at the celebrated Sidney Myer Music Bowl, at Kings Domain Gardens, Linlithgow Avenue in Melbourne on Saturday, April 9. The show will start at 6 pm and end at 8 pm.
