A celebrated Melbourne venue is set to host an otherworldly show from one of the biggest stars of Asia’s Mandopop scene.

Joker Xue is a Chinese producer and singer-songwriter famed for performing Mandopop music. His Extraterrestrial World Tour began back in 2021, and has now successfully held more than 60 shows with plenty more to come. During the performance, Xue transforms and becomes an “interstellar executive” who comes down from an alien planet with an order to destroy the planet Earth. However, on the cusp of Earth’s destruction, Xue finds himself inspired by mankind’s beauty, and relinquishes his identity as an alien and becomes human.
