Internationally renowned robotics researcher and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Monash University, Professor Elizabeth Croft, is set to lead a discussion later this month aimed at encouraging women in the Springvale region to participate in employment and research in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields.
Sponsored as part of the City of Monash’s Women’s Business Network, this hybrid networking event will allow participants to engage with Professor Croft and other attendees either in person or, for those who cannot attend, via Zoom. People attending networking events such as these can benefit from having Business Cards close at hand for exchanging and building professional networks.
Throughout her illustrious career, Professor Croft has been responsible for leading and implementing a number of initiatives aimed at advancing research in areas of vital environmental and economic importance. She has also served as the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council Chair for Women in Science and Engineering from 2010 to 2015, and she is responsible for launching the Master of Engineering Leadership degrees at the University of British Columbia.
