One of Springvale’s largest events venues will soon open its gates to one of the nation’s most loved hobby shows.
Springvale’s Sandown Racecourse is welcoming back The Train and Hobby Show in 2025. The epic two-day event will hit the suburb on the third weekend in March and is inviting residents of all ages to attend.
Dubbed “Australia's Favourite Hobby Show”, the upcoming show will feature both small and large model railway layouts from across the country, along with the very best in radio-controlled (RC) vehicles on display. These include helicopters, planes, boats, tanks and trucks.
There will also be a wide range of specialist traders with both new and vintage equipment to sell and swap. Sellers at speciality events typically carry company cards featuring their Logo Design so they can easily share contact information with new customers.
Enthusiasts will find live steam engines present and a chance to ride them, as well as a special air show. For children, there will be plenty of activities and entertainment with a railway theme, including popular characters like Thomas the Tank Engine.
The Train and Hobby Show 2025 will now be at Sandown racecourse on Saturday, March 15 (10 am to 5 pm) and Sunday, March 16 (10 am to 5 pm). The venue is located at 591-659 Princes Highway in Springvale, and tickets are $16.84.Get a Free Quote for Logo Design
