Fun in the snow for visitors to annual Springvale festival

Residents of Springvale in Victoria will enjoy the fun and excitement of life in the Snowy Mountains, when the annual Snow Fest hits town.

Each year, the Springvale Snow Fest brings a winter carnival atmosphere complete with snowfalls and fun in the frost for kids.

Last year, more than 10,000 people flocked to the event, which transforms Buckingham and Balmoral Avenues into a winter wonderland.

The street festival has something for everyone. Roving entertainers will weave their way through the crowds and eye-catching decorations, ultra violet lighting, impressive artwork, and huge inflatables.

In addition, live stage performances are on the program, along with family rides and a wide range of food stalls offering popular cuisine.

Snow is a rare sight in Springvale, located 23km south-east of Melbourne’s CBD, which is why the event has become so popular.

Children, in particular, enjoy the experience of playing in real snow, building snowmen, and watching artists make ice sculptures.

Buckingham Street also takes on a marketplace feel, with a wide range of stalls and food outlets adding to the extensive mix of attractions.

Festivals such as this require a lot of preparation, including flyer and banner printing to advertise what is on offer, and important information such as the date the event will be held. This year, the Springvale Snow Fest takes place on July 20th from midday to 7pm.
