Now into its fourth round, the funding programme targets medium and small enterprises with an opportunity that will help them to grow and develop.
Up to $50,000 is available to eligible applicants in categories such as Social Enterprise Capability, Victoria-Israel Innovation, Food Innovation, Asia Gateway, Cyber and Security, Aerospace, and Advanced Manufacturing.
The aim of the programme is to assist successful businesses in their efforts to boost profitability and scale, to diversify, provide additional job opportunities, improve market access and achieve greater productivity.
Job, Innovation and Trade Minister, Martin Pakula said he was proud of the programme and its ability to help Victorian businesses to hire more staff and create opportunities in new markets, adding:
“The three rounds of this programme have provided funding to more than 300 businesses across the state and this round will support dozens more to innovate and grow.”
Efforts to gain a greater market share have often included the use of promotional brochure printing as part of strategic marketing campaigns.
During the previous three rounds, the programme has assisted Victorian businesses to the tune of $9 million, of which $1.8 million went to 70 enterprises, earlier in 2019.
