Aura residents aged 12-25 are gearing up for the second instalment of Aura’s Youth Fest celebrations. Taking place as part of the Queensland Youth Week events, the festival is focused on the talents and interests of the city’s young people.
Festival highlights will include the Battle of the Bands competition, showcasing young local musical talent, as well as a skate and scooter championship for skaters aged 14-25 to show off their skills.
Young artists and entrepreneurs will have the chance to show off their products, artworks and business ideas with a number of free stall spaces open to vendors aged 12-25. The festival will also include markets, food trucks and live music performances.
Local employers and youth services will also be able to take advantage of the crowds to set up stalls and promote their services. They’ll have the chance to connect with young people in the community, and start discussions about the support, education and career opportunities available.
The festival also features a graphic design competition, with young artists invited to submit their designs for the festival’s promotional materials. The winning design will be displayed across the festival's social media channels, its official website, event Posters and Promotional Products.
Aura Youth Fest 25 will return to the Baringa Community Centre from 2 pm – 8 pm on Friday, April 11.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products Get a Free Quote for Posters
