An evening event in Aura’s Baringa suburb is inviting families to celebrate the anniversary of a famous film made in Australia.
Community members on the look-out for family-friendly fun therefore have a treat in store. An event called “Family Film Night” is taking place outdoors in Baringa that will let audiences enjoy the motion picture “Babe” beneath the stars.
The commemorative event is designed to honour an important milestone for the movie. This year it is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and fans are encouraged to bring along their little and loved ones to appreciate a true Australian classic.

Directed by Sydney’s Chris Noonan and co-written by George Miller of “Mad Max” fame, Babe was shot in New South Wales before being released to international acclaim. The much-loved tale about a pig that wants to be a sheepdog has stood the test of time and continues to be heralded as a family favourite.
The Family Film Night screening of Babe will be held in Baringa Forest Park on Saturday, May 9. The event will get started from 3.30 pm and the film is suitable for all ages. The park is situated on Eden Drive, Baringa within the Aura community.
