Aura looks forward to Victorian State Ballet

Fairytale and ballet fans in Aura have the chance to experience the Victoria State Ballet’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’ as they bring their 2025 season to audiences around Australia. Based on the Disney movie screenplay as well as the original French fairytale, this production features internationally recognised dancers performing the original choreography of Michelle Cassar De Sierra.

Audiences will be able to experience spellbinding moments from the well-known tale, brought to life by original classical ballet choreography, beautiful costuming and careful staging. The Victorian State Ballet aims to draw audiences into the story, highlighting iconic characters and moments through ballet.

Established in 2003 by Martin and Michelle Sierra, the Victorian State Ballet seeks to fill the gap in the Victorian arts scene with an originally choreographed repertoire based on 20th century Grand Ballets, classical ballet and neo-classical ballet. Dedicated to spreading the art of ballet throughout the country, the Victorian State Ballet brings full-length ballet performances, contemporary dance, and educational workshops to venues around Australia.

Audiences often make use of programs to learn the music and performers featured in a theatre show. Brochure printing services may be used to produce these programs, sharing the details of performers, story, production company, music, and featuring any sponsors of the show.

The Victorian State Ballet will bring their ‘Beauty and the Beast’ performance to the King’s Theatre near Aura on Friday May 23rd.
