New restaurants set for pre-Christmas opening
Caringbah foodies will have a wider choice of menus from next month, with two new eateries opening in the suburb.
Hospitality company The Feros Group has bought a large three-storey site on Banksia Street and is planning to split it into four different businesses with the first opening next month.
At the front of the ground floor, there will be an Ugly Pizza, an American-style restaurant that will sell pizzas whole and by the slice. Behind the restaurant, there will be a new bar called Huxley’s. The bar will serve a limited pizza menu, as well as other food including burgers and chicken wings, while also showing popular sports matches on big screens.
The owners could work with a print company to create promotional material ahead of the opening, including sample menus, flyers advertising opening specials, and posters for the local area.
The two other floors of the large site are still being developed but are also set to become food venues. On the top floor, the group is planning a large restaurant and bar with a rooftop seating area and fresh seafood on the menu, while the middle floor is set to become a classic Australian pub.
The first restaurants will open on Saturday, December 19. The rest of the venue is set for development next year and is likely to open in 2017.
