Caringbah to hold sports event

A yearly soccer cup running in partnership a not-for-profit organisation is taking place in Caringbah to support a good mental health in Australia’s railway sector.

Caringbah residents can show off their soccer skills this winter playing five a side football. The Railtrack Association Australia (RTAA) and track infrastructure expert the Permanent Way Institution (PWI) are proudly presenting the annual “Railway Soccer Cup” and this year, the event promises to be bigger than ever before.

The cup is a charitable tournament that was set up to help support wellbeing and mental health in the rail industry by promoting important conversations and building connections. Associations raising awareness of mental health issues sometimes connect with specialist brochure printing services that can produce professional Booklets containing useful information.

Over time, the soccer event has attracted a greater number of participants. To cope with increased demand, the event’s organisers have boosted capacity for the 2026 edition with a total of 32 teams now playing for the cup. Those wishing to join a team are encouraged to register early as spots typically get filled quickly.

The Railway Soccer Cup will now run at 5Sports on Friday, July 17. The event will kick off at 2 pm and finishes at 7 pm and the premier five a side facility is located within the grounds of Endeavour Sports High School at 125 The Boulevard in Caringbah.
