Business owners from Caringbah have the chance to find out more about what the shire’s Members of Parliament are planning for the area at a special meeting later this month.
Earlier in the year, the Sutherland Shire Chambers of Commerce gathered to hold a forum prior to the elections to allow candidates to air their ideas.
Now, the successful MPs are being invited back to talk about their work so far, and to discuss their future plans for local business. The panel will include Mark Speakman, MP for Cronulla, along with Member for Miranda Eleni Petinos and Lee Evans, who is MP for Heathcote.
The panel members will speak, take questions and listen to suggestions from the audience around the issues affecting the local economy and business growth.
The event will also be a good networking opportunity, so anyone attending should consider business card printing or investing in digital Business Cards before the event so they are able to swap details with other entrepreneurs, or to the MPs for future discussions.
The meeting will be held at the Sharks League Club in nearby Woolooware on Monday September 21, from 5:00 pm. Finger food will be provided and drinks will be available.
