An iconic new wave band from the 1980s will be performing at a live concert in Caringbah later this year.
Music lovers in Caringbah with an appreciation for the Australian new wave scene can soon see the famous ‘80s band Pseudo Echo on stage. As part of their 2024 Machine Tour, the group will be appearing at local venue, The Caringbah Hotel in April.
Perhaps best known for the international hit “Funky Town”, Pseudo Echo were an important voice in the 1980s music scene, revolutionising the new wave scene with innovative tracks like “Listening”, “Don’t Go”, “A Beat For You”, “Love An Adventure” and “Living In A Dream”.
Pseudo Echo’s Logo Design was created to feature the essence of the band. Designed by founding member Brian Canham on graph paper in the office of his father, it depicts a man with a new romantic hairstyle behind a keyboard. Canham connected with an artistic friend who hand-painted the logo on a large backdrop, which was installed behind the band when they played their early gigs.
The group is now scheduled to perform at the Caringbah Hotel on Friday, April 19. The venue is located at 343 Port Hacking Road, Caringbah, and the show will start at 7pm, before ending at 11pm. Tickets for the concert are priced at $59.00 per person.Get a Free Quote for Logo Design
