Sydney’s most famous events venue will host an international animation festival in the new year.
Caringbah families looking for entertainment during the January school holiday can attend a special event taking place in Sydney next year. For the first time in history, the London International Animation Festival is coming to the New South Wales capital and will run at the Sydney Opera House for three consecutive days.

Designed to appeal to children aged between two to 14 years old, the festival is specially made to celebrate the world of animation for children. Its Australian debut will see the globally recognised event showcase the very best in animated content for children from across the world.
The venue’s Playhouse will be converted into a cinema for the festival’s duration, screening short films and cartoons highlighting a range of animated styles including: 2D; 3D; stop-motion; computer generated; hand-drawn and Claymation.
The foyer will feature fun interactive animations and a chance to pick up popcorn for the screenings.
