The Barbara Bush Branch Public Library has announced that it will be providing a seminar dedicated to presenting unique facts from around the world. This event is open to children between the ages of 9 and 13.
Known as Can You Believe it?, this gathering will discuss lesser-known facts that are interesting to young listeners. Some of the topics that are covered include trivia, world history, myths, mysteries, bizarre animals, and indeed anything that might come as a surprise to children who are keen to understand their place in society.
This is also an interactive presentation. There will be opportunities for children to play games, participate in challenges, and break records set by previous attendees. The main point is to encourage curiosity, and to enable tweens to think outside the proverbial box.
Events that cater to smaller demographics will normally use rather conservative marketing strategies. Some potential examples include flyer printing, placing Brochures in local libraries, and hanging banner ads in nearby schools.
Can You Believe It? will be held on Friday, April 10th from 1 PM to 2 PM. Parents are asked to arrive at the Barbara Bush Branch Library located at 6817 Cypresswood Drive slightly in advance. This meeting will take place in the Earl Elliot Room. While free to attend, parents should still pick up a ticket from the children's staff upon entering.
