Warwick to welcome landlording workshop

An event will soon be taking place in Warwick that may be of interest to both experienced landlords and those who are just starting out alike.

The Landlording in Rhode Island workshop will be a three-hour session facilitated by landlords who know the laws and how the process of renting out an apartment or other property works. They will cover a variety of topics, including the responsibilities that come with being a landlord. Those who attend will learn about the various resources that exist in the community and the state to assist those who have a property for rent, how to find good tenants, what Forms landlords needs and where to get them, and also how to determine what rent to charge. The process of moving out, evictions, and assessing damage to their unit will also be discussed.

The workshop will be held on November 18 in Warwick’s Crowne Plaza Providence. The fee to participate has been set at $40 per person, and it has been planned by the Rhode Island Real Estate Investor Group.
