Warwick pop-up to celebrate spring
April showers bringing May flowers, but thanks to a Warwick area event, the public can enjoy some springtime blossoms a month early.
At least 85 plant and flower vendors will be on hand for the Bloom Flower and Home Market, which is expected to attract a large crowd. The WaterFire Arts Center will be welcoming the event, and it will be up and running for two days.
Both indoor and outdoor plants will be in the mix for the celebration, and art, home décor, and other items will also be in the mix. To welcome ticketholders, each admission includes a drink ticket that can be redeemed for a cocktail, beer, or non-alcoholic beverage, which will be available on site and is being offered thanks to the support of the function's sponsors. Those who require a mobility device are welcome but are asked to identify themselves to the security staff for assistance.
A horticultural expo gives the public an opportunity to learn as they stock up on tools, seeds, and plants and meet other green-fingered folk. Many companies that take part choose to offer corporate gifts such as cloth shopping totes, plant stakes, and other items to the crowd.
