Warwick Pets put on show this Halloween

Furry Fellas Dog Walking and Pet Sitting is hosting a community event this October titled “Howl-o-ween Hike N Treat.”

The event, running from 2 pm to 5 pm, will feature a variety of activities for dogs and their owners, including a group dog walk, a pet costume competition, treats, games, and a raffle. Plant-based snacks will also be provided for all attendees. The occasion is free to the public, however, a $10 donation is required to partake in the dog walk or costume contest.

The day will kick off with check-in at 2 pm at the Furry Fellas stall, and the group hike will begin promptly at 2:30 pm. The costume competition, offering prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, will take place around 4 pm. Dogs can attend in costume, but it is not mandatory. The event welcomes trained and vaccinated dogs. Water, and litter Bags for pets should be brought by participants.

This event, also backed by local sponsors and vendors, aims to support animal welfare in the Warwick community while providing an engaging and fun afternoon for both pets and their owners.
