Warwick PAL plans annual golf tourney

The Warwick Police Athletic League (PAL) gives youth in the community opportunities to engage in sport and access mentorships, and a local golf tournament will support its work.

The annual Warwick PAL Golf Tournament will be teeing off for its 35th year this September. Cranston Country Club has been booked for the occasion, and it will be a full day of fresh air and fun.

The day will open with registration, and once they have checked in, players can mingle over a light breakfast and exchange Business Cards. After this, there will be a shotgun start, and everyone will be able to use one of the carts provided. A light lunch will be served, and once the play is complete, golfers will be invited to retire to the clubhouse for dinner and an awards presentation.

To give all the players a chance to show off their skills, they can try their luck in an assortment of special competitions. Raffles for draw prizes such as Corporate Gifts donated by its sponsors will round out the excitement, and more details about this for both supporters and golfers alike can be found on the Warwick PAL website.

The 35th annual Warwick PAL Golf Tournament will tee off for fun on Wednesday, September 6. It will be held rain or shine, and check-in for the players in begins at 7:30 am.
