Warwick market to aid local animal shelter

Warwick’s smallest residents will be the beneficiaries of an event planned for the city, and it will give savvy holiday gift buyers a chance to hit the ground running.

The Friends of the Warwick Animal Shelter recently announced that its Crafting for Critters fall bazaar fundraiser is not far away, and it promises to combine retail therapy with supporting companion animals in need. It will be set up outdoors, and at least 70 vendors and other sellers will be taking advantage of the opportunity.

The small businesses that will be on hand for the day will be joined by local food trucks, and admission and parking will both be free. Audrey Snow is serving as this year's Event Director, and anyone who would like to set up shop as a seller is asked to contact her to make their arrangements. All the items on offer must be made by hand by the seller, and multilevel marketers will not be participating.

Browsing through a pop-up market can be a fun way to spend an autumn afternoon. Vendors that plan on taking part can order Business Cards and other materials they need from area Print shops.

This chance to kick off the holiday gift buying season, while also doing a good turn for Warwick’s companion animals in need, starts at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 14th. It will be held at Airport Professional Park, and the organizer can be contacted at FriendsofWAS@gmail.com.
