Warwick festival to provide festive winter fun

Warwick revellers will be among the crowd at a celebration that aims to celebrate the holiday season, and two special visitors will serve as its guests of honor.

The Strolling Rolling Apponaug Winter Festival will be set up in front of Warwick City Hall, and it will kick off in the morning. It will run until the late afternoon, with plenty of family-friendly activities on the agenda.

The celebration will see the public offered horse and carriage rides, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus themselves, and live entertainment from the local area. An assortment of small businesses will be showcasing their products and services in the pop-up market, and food trucks will be rolling in to serve refreshments.

A scavenger hunt will provide excitement to those who enjoy solving a challenge, and a parade is also in the works. A rain date has also been set, which doesn't include the parade.

To thank the public for their support, the organizers of the event explained that the first 500 to register online or in person will receive special Corporate Gifts. These will be presented with a custom magnetic picture frame, and every registrant will have their name entered in a raffle draw for a Warwick winter staycation.

The Strolling Rolling Apponaug Winter Festival will be bringing seasonal festivities to the city on December 9, and is open from 9:00am.
