Warwick event to be filled with veggie-themed fun

Rhode Island vegetarians and vegans believe there are many benefits to living a lifestyle that is based on plants, and a February gathering will bring them together for six hours of activities and other fun.

The festival, which is on the agenda for the Warwick area, will provide living proof of how easy and fun it can be to go animal product free. It is open to everyone, whether they are vegan or not, and it can be a simple way for those who are considering adopting the lifestyle to dip their toe in the water.

This will be the first year that Vegfest RI has been held, and its planners have worked hard to make it special. It will include exhibits from an assortment of vendors as well as restaurants and other eateries, shops and bars, and a selection of vegetarian celebrities will also be on hand.

The guests at the festival can expect to enjoy fee samples, and as they enjoy the food, they can discover how they can prepare vegan dishes on their own. Cookbooks filled with vegetarian recipes can be a great fundraising item to sell during a day like this, and these can be prepared by a printing services company.

Providence’s WaterFire Arts Center will be hosting the first ever Vegfest RI on February 23.
