Warwick evening to support area Girl Scouts

Girl Scout Cookies have been sold during fundraisers for many years, and the East Bay Chamber of Commerce has planned an event that will put them front and center.

The Crowne Plaza in Warwick will be the venue for Cookies and Cocktails, which will help to support activities undertaken by the Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England. It will be geared towards those who have a sweet tooth, and chefs and bakers from the local area will be lending their talents to the occasion.

During the evening, the culinary professionals will prepare an assortment of desserts using Girl Scout cookies as their base. NBC 10 news anchor Mario Hilario will be serving as the emcee, and a silent auction is in the works as well. Everyone will be able to choose from a variety of light bites, and the function is only open to guests who are age 21 and up.

Signature fundraisers are often sumptuous events, and a banner printing company can be counted on to provide custom decor that makes a function feel even more special. This will be available at a variety of price points, which may be an important consideration if an activity has been organized by a not-for-profit group.

The annual Cookies and Cocktails celebration will welcome ticket holders on March 10. The doors will open at 5:30 pm, and tickets are available now.
