Residents of Warwick have been asked to join the rest of the state in voting for their favorite iced coffee to win the bragging rights that come with being the very best.
RI Food Fights has organized the friendly competition, and a large group of food service establishments will be participating. Members of the public who wish to get involved can do so by purchasing a specially crafted ‘passport’, which will entitle the holder to receive one iced coffee from each of the 20 different shops that will be competing. The contest will run for one month, and after the coffee lovers have sampled each, they can go online to the page that will be set up for them to vote for which they enjoyed the most.
The passports for the competition are being offered to members of the public at a price of $20 each, which can add up to a value of over $100 if they visit each shop participating. A local supplier of Stationery printing can craft certificates and other awards that can be used for a contest such as this.
This quest to find the best when it comes to iced coffee in Rhode Island will run throughout the month of August. Anyone who is interested in finding out more can do so on the RI Food Fights Facebook listing.
