Warwick class to introduce joys of herbal tea

Many people enjoy curling up with a hot cup of tea on cold winter's day, and the participants in Warwick workshop will explore the benefits of the popular drink.

Kritine Thomas-Jones will be the facilitator for an activity that will introduce an assortment of herbal tea blends, and both night-time, and daytime blends will be discussed. The class price starts at $25, and a materials fee of $20 will be charged as well.

The students in the session will learn about the various herbs and other ingredients that can be used to craft tasty and healthful teas and tisanes, and the benefits of the individual ingredients will be reviewed. Each attendee will discover how to craft their own personal mixtures, and everyone will go home with a container of their brew to enjoy at home. The run time for the workshop is two hours.

Continuing educational opportunities give adults a chance to keep on learning throughout their lives. Materials for these events will be available at area brochure printing companies, which can also supply promotional Pens and pads so everyone can jot down any notes they might wish to make.

This presentation that will introduce the pleasures of customized tea blends will be offered on March 12, starting at 2:00 pm. The location of the class will be The Warwick Center for the Arts.
