Car buffs who attend a show planned for Warwick will be doing a good turn for area companion animals.
The Cause for Pause Car Show has become a traditional kick-off to summer for the local area, and the entry fee is $15 for each vehicle. Admission for spectators is free, and the monies raised will be donated to the Warwick Animal Shelter.
Those who would like to enter their hot rod, muscle car, rat rod, antique truck, fire truck, or any year of Corvette are welcome to show off their pride and joy, and registration will be open from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm. Dash plaques with a custom graphic design will be distributed, along with goody Bags, and these will be made available to the first 100 entries to sign up.
The community members who attend the show will be able to vote for their top entry. The winner will be recognized with a trophy, and awards will also be presented to the Best in Show and Best Club Participation. A door prize draw has been planned, and anyone who makes a donation of canned pet food will receive an entry ticket.
The date for the 2021 Cause for Paws Car Show will be Sunday, June 13. The venue for the day can be found at 171 Service Avenue.
