Warwick car show to benefit animals in need
Warwick car buffs who have been looking to show off their pride and joy can do so during an event that will help to bring animals in need in from the cold.
Whether it can be driven or if it has to be pushed, pulled or even dragged to the Cause for Paws Classic Car Show, all vehicle owners are welcome to show off their “baby” to the world. Cars and trucks ranging from vintage hot rods to exotics, Corvettes and even fire trucks will be on display.
Registration for the activity will begin at 9:00 am, and the first 100 to arrive to sign in will receive a dash plaque and other promotional products, all packed into a goodie bag they can take home with them. The fee to enter a vehicle is $15 each, and admission to the celebration is free for the public.
The plans for the gathering include oldies music spun by Crusin’ Bruce Palmer, and to help raise as much as possible for the Warwick Animal Shelter, there will be even split and raffle draws. Anyone who brings along a can of cat or dog food will receive an additional entry in the raffle, and both food and beverages will be available.
This celebration of classic cars and trucks and the people who love them will be taking place at 171 Service Avenue in Warwick on June 14. The rain date for the function will be July 19.
