Warwick brewery to welcome return of tribute event

A Warwick celebration will honor the founder of one of its craft breweries, and will have lots of fun on tap.

Proclamation Ale Company will soon be hosting Daveapalooza 2024, which will pay tribute to its founder Dave Witham. Its listing explained that his efforts helped to create the eclectic Rhode Island craft beer scene, and both standard and VIP tickets have been made available.

The plans for the occasion include a vendor alley that will feature local small businesses, and the skateboarders in the crowd can try out the halfpipe that will be set up in the venue’s parking lot. Live music supplied by area bands will be playing, and several eateries, including Highroller Lobster Co will be providing the food for the festivities. There will be a release of collaborative beers, and slush specials will be available all day. Axe throwing will be new for this year.

A themed celebration or other event may call for special decorations, and a poster printing company will be happy to help. It can provide a variety of decor options, and since some of them are reusable, they may be a budget friendly choice for an annual activity.

The 4th annual Daveapalooza will be held on July 13th. It will be set up at 298 KilvertStreet in Warwick, and tickets start at $5.00 each when purchased in advance.
