Thanks to a local event, Warwick residents are being treated to farm-fresh produce and other goods, even in the middle of winter.
The Farm Fresh Winter Market is celebrating its first year, and is giving the public an easy and tasty way to support their local agricultural community. The organizers note that they are excited to be able to bring this new activity to the area, and that its wide hallways will make it easy to follow social distancing policies.
The event is taking place in a newly constructed facility, which was specifically designed to host year-round markets. There are lots of onsite parking spots, and as there are no hills, it is accessible to those who use a rollator or other mobility device. A large selection of vendors, including farmers, crafters, and food service providers have their products on offer, and it is giving the public a chance to meet local growers and other sellers.

This new addition to the Warwick area takes place each Saturday, and it will run until April 24. It is on offer at 10 Sims Avenue in Providence.
