Warwick area seeks assistance with community clean-up
A hands-on service project offers a way for neighbors to support their community, and one of these events is currently seeking support from Warwick residents.
The Baldwin Loop, which is a local two-mile walking path, is in need of some care after the winter months. People of all ages are invited to get involved in the afternoon, and along with giving it a good spring clean, they will be helping to plan for its future.
The registrants are asked to meet up at The Empowerment Factory, which can be found in the Hope Artiste Village. Before they set out, the teams of helpers will be supplied with gloves and trash bags, but they are encouraged to bring their own if they wish. They will be picking up trash and other debris as well as making notes of possible sites where trees can be installed in the future, and to help make sure everyone has plenty of energy and stays hydrated, refreshments will be served.
Organizing a function like this often requires screening forms and other documents in the current environment. A company that crafts customized letterheads will be able to prepare them, along with a wide selection of additional printed materials.
Those who would like to get involved in this community clean up are asked to be on site by 12:00 pm. It has been scheduled for April 24, with a rain date of April 25.
