Beer lovers may wish to make plans now to be part of a Warwick celebration that will feature a variety of offerings all crafted with a Rhode Island flair.
More than 55 breweries will be strutting their stuff in this year’s Rhode Island Beer Fest, and over 175 beers will be on tap for the crowd to sample and savor. The day will be split into two tasting sessions, and both will include a food court, live entertainment, and a vendor alley where local businesses will be showcasing what they have to offer.
The organizers of this annual event noted that they were pleased to announce a new venue set for this year. The festivities will be held in The WaterFire Arts Center, which has recently undergone a facelift.
This celebration of the area’s brewing community is offered through the support of the Rhode Island Brewers Guild, which will be paying the different brewers to participate, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the guild.
