The WBAH event has the potential to promote networking and mutual learning in the long term. Subsequent meetings may be required to allow the participants to develop their relationships.
The Preservation Society of Newport County (PSNC) has elected to sponsor the initiative, and may wish to use Stationery printers in Warwick to help those involved in improving their communications.
Jody Sullivan, the Executive Director of the NCCC, has explained how discussions with professional women have enabled her to succeed in her own career. Her position as the head of the NCCC could be seen as giving credibility to her opinion.
Ms. Sullivan has told Patch Media Corporation:
“Sharing our experiences with fellow working women provides a more personal avenue to help women excel and know that they are not alone.”
The price of the event was set at $15 per head for members of the chamber of commerce. However, nonmembers were given the chance of attendance for just $5 more.
