A Warwick area event will soon have local kids hopping in for a great time, and it will give them a chance to learn more about some of the amphibians that call the state home.
At least 10 species of frogs can be found in Rhode Island, and Providence's Blackstone Park will be hosting an activity that will teach young learners more about them. Some surprise guests will be stopping just for the occasion, and each child will be able to complete a craft project as well.
While frogs and toads may look similar, they have notable differences, and the guests will discover these for themselves. They will also be able to create their very own toad or frog trading card featuring the species of their choice, and the activity will kick off with a brief field trip as well.
This opportunity for kids to make some discoveries about the world around them will be held in Blackstone Park. Themed stickers, magnets and other Promotional Products can be prepared to give to each boy or girl who takes part in this type of activity.
