High-flying fundraiser on the way near Warwick

An evening soiree planned for Providence will help to ensure that a protected species of bird will be around for years to come.

Peregrine falcons are one of the world’s fastest creatures, and they can be spotted flying over Warwick. While they were once on the brink of extinction, these birds of prey have made a significant comeback.

The Audubon Society of Rhode Island will be hosting ‘Party for the Peregrines’, and it will be held in Roger Williams Park Botanical Center on Floral Avenue. The monies raised through this festive occasion will be utilized in funding various programs the society offers throughout the area.

Two different ticket choices are available, and guests can choose the one that best suits their needs and budget. Those who purchase a Kestrel level ticket will have their name included in the list of Kestrel Patrons in the event's program, while those who choose the Falcon Ticket will have their name listed accordingly. In addition to this, the Falcon level ticket holders will be invited to a special VIP reception, offered reserved seating and parking, and given access to an open bar service.

This sort of function can be both entertaining and educational. A poster printing company will be able to craft a variety of custom decor that can help to make a function like this complete.

Warwick’s birding community and those who would just like to lend these speedy raptors a helping hand are welcome to attend this event, which will be held on May 10. Its online listing offers more information and an opportunity to purchase tickets.
