The Gaspee Days Arts and Crafts Festival is taking place this Memorial Day weekend, and acts as a fund raiser for the Gaspee Days parade, due to be held on June 8.
The festival is expected to draw at least 50,000 people and will feature over 100 vendors, a food court, musical entertainment, and a range of children's activities. A block party is also on offer for those aged 21 and over, and will feature a DJ. It is all shaping up to be a fun way for the entire family to spend Memorial Day weekend.
Vendors will be selling a variety of arts and crafts such as fine art, ceramics, pottery, clothing, home décor, and jewelry. They can rent booth space for $75 for all three days.
No doubt many of the vendors will be working with Warwick area printing companies to make their booths stand out from the others. Many artisans are fond of postcard printing, as they can allow the cards to double up as Business Cards, including examples of their art on the front while the underside might feature their address and contact details. They then hand them out free at events like this, which helps get their name known in the community and might lead to future work.
The 2013 Gaspee Days Arts and Crafts Festival will be held along the Narragansett Parkway in Pawtuxet Village from May 25 - 27. More information can be obtained by contacting Tina Bingham or Ryan Giviens at 401-781-1771.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
