Expert-led craft class takes place in Warwick
There will be a Sip and Sculpt Pottery Class taking place this November. Apponaug Brewing and Pottery With a Purpose are hosting it.
This two-hour event is designed for beginners and will provide a step-by-step guide on creating handmade pottery pieces.
Hosted by an expert instructor, the class will teach participants how to craft pinch pots and convert them into various functional items such as vases, planters, candle holders, and more. The experience includes a pottery kit, which attendees can bring home to continue creating after the class. Additionally, trivia games with prizes will be part of the fun.
Guests will also have the option to air-dry and paint their creations at home or take them to a professional kiln studio for glazing and firing to make them waterproof and food-safe.
Each ticket, priced at $75, covers the workshop, 1-2 pottery pieces, and the signature pottery kit. Tickets can be purchased through the event's official listing. Though ticket purchases cannot be refunded, they can be transferred to another class date if the cancelation is completed at least 72 hours before the event.
Hosts of classes such as this one may use print shops to provide printed instructions to attendees.
The date and time will be November 12th from 7 pm to 9 pm at Apponaug Brewing Company, 334 Knight Street, Warwick, Rhode Island.
