Charity softball tournament to be held in Warwick

Whether they play competitively on a team or just want to have some fun, residents of Warwick are invited to get together with their friends and families and come out have some fun while helping others at the same time.

The Gabrielle’s Grand Slam Charity Co-Ed Softball Tournament will have spaces for teams of both men and women to enjoy friendly competition, food, and more. This will be the first year for the event, and there will be both recreational and competitive divisions, with a total of eight teams in each. Teams will comprise six men and four women. A Print company can be called upon to produce Signs, Banners, and other decorations that can be used to promote events such as this, which can help to ensure they are as successful as possible.

The goal of the tournament will be to raise funds to help support the emotional, educational, recreational, and also financial needs of children living with heart defects, heart disease, and major feeding issues, as well as their families. The Gabrielle Dinsmore Heart and Hope Fund operates in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

The event, which is sponsored by the City of Warwick, is scheduled for May 7 in its City Park. The registration fee is $250 per team, and they must sign up by April 9. Anyone who would like further information is invited to visit the Gabrielle’s Grand Slam Charity Co-Ed Softball Tournament site.
