Annual horticulture expo planned for Rhode Island gardeners

The Warwick area is preparing to welcome flower lovers from across the state for the annual Rhode Island Spring Flower and Garden Show, which will be kicking off another growing season.

This yearly event has come to be popular with gardeners who are interested in learning about some of the latest developments in home horticulture, and it will offer displays, learning opportunities, and chances to network. Floral designers and growers will be showing off their skill in a variety of competitions, while there will also be giveaways and other activities.

Ticket holders for the occasion will be able to stop by vendor displays, collecting information and Promotional Products as they go. Seed giveaways and free soil tests will be on offer, and “Gardens of the Worlds” and other displays will provide inspiration. Anyone who would like to learn more about how they can create outdoor living spaces will be able to do so, and seminars addressing gardening, home décor, and green energy are all included in the agenda.

One of the parts of the function that may be of special interest to the attendees is the 7th annual Energy Expo. This is being presented by Nationalgrid, and will provide information about energy efficiency and other ways to go green

The 70th annual RI Home Show is scheduled to run from April 8 to 11. The Rhode Island Convention Center will be the venue for the three-day event.
