Crossing Vineyards and Winery in Newtown is hosting a Summer Wine and Music Series starting in June.
The series includes nine outdoor concerts. The Fabulous Greaseband, which performs rock and roll from the ‘50s to the ‘90s, will perform both the first and the last day of the series. The lineup also includes soul and RnB groups, as well as tribute bands for Elton John, the Beatles, and Billy Joel. The full schedule and information about the bands are available on Crossing Vineyards’ website.
Tickets are available on the vineyard’s website now for $20 per person, although the price increases to $25 the week of each concert. Online tickets will be available until 4:30 pm the day of the show, and tickets can be purchased at the gate after that. Season tickets, which offer admission to all nine shows, are $125. Businesses often use flyer printing services to promote their seasonal events.
Wine, beer, other drinks, and snacks will be available for purchase. Attendees can bring their own food, but outside beverages are prohibited. Concertgoers should bring lawn chairs.
The Crossing Vineyards Summer Wine and Music Series will take place on June 13 and 20; July 11, 18 and 25; August 8 and 15; and September 5 and 12. All of these are Fridays and all shows start at 7:00 pm. Performances will go on rain or shine.
