Annual art exhibition to return to historic Newtown space
A group of artists is hosting an exhibition in a historic barn and chapel in Newtown this fall.
The 9th annual Art at Kings Oaks will be open for several weeks in October and feature works from 27 different artists who use a variety of styles and materials. The participating artists are from the US and nine other countries. Works on display will include paintings, sculptures, drawings, textiles, ceramics, and collages.
The exhibition will open with a reception on Friday, October 4 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and close with another reception on Sunday, October 20 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. These events, as well as admission to the collection, are free. Free parking is also available onsite at Kings Oaks.
Collectors and others interested in seeing the collection with a smaller group can purchase tickets for a preview party next Monday, September 30. Tickets are available on the Kings Oaks website. Artwork will be available for sale in-person and remotely. Those interested can contact Kings Oaks by phone at 215-603-6573 or by email at kingsoaks@comcast.net. Artists often have business cards available for those interested in purchasing their work.
