The annual Westlake Spring Fever event will return to Westlake this April. The event will bring together runners and families for a morning of fitness and community engagement.
Organized at Westlake High School, the event will feature multiple race lengths, including four-mile, two-mile, and one-mile options, and a special dash for young children.
Registration will begin at 7:30 am, while the Kids Dash will occur at 8:45 am. The primary races will start at 9 am. Participants will receive race shirts, access to chip-timed results, and eligibility for awards in designated age categories.
In addition to the races, attendees will be able to enjoy a pancake breakfast supplied by the Kiwanis of Westlake, beginning at 8 am. The event will also offer activities for children in the high school’s auxiliary gym, featuring games such as face art, bowling, and soccer.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Westlake Educational Foundation, which funds initiatives to enhance academic programs for students. Dogs are permitted but must remain on a leash. Registration fees vary based on distance and date of entry, with prices increasing after March 30.
Current registration prices range from $8.42 to $34.92. Attendees can register through the Find a Race Listing.
Print shops may be used by organizers to provide attendees with race bibs and the Banners for events such as this one.
