This June, the annual Crocker Park Block Party and Crocker Bark race event will bring together residents, local organizations, and visitors for a full day of outdoor activities designed for families and pet owners.
It will start with the Crocker Bark 5K and 1-mile walk, followed by a street festival featuring interactive exhibits and entertainment. Organizers state that attendees can expect opportunities to meet local police officers, firefighters, and emergency responders while exploring public safety vehicles and equipment during a Touch-A-Truck experience. Demonstrations involving K-9 units, educational presentations on internet safety, and children’s activities are also planned throughout the day.
Race registration pricing varies by date. Entry for the 5K and 1-mile walk costs $35 through June 4, and rises to $40 on race day. The children’s dash is priced at $15 through the day of the event. Organizers stated that all race fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to future events. Packet pickup will be available in advance at Lucky Shoes in Westlake.
Live music, food trucks, vendor booths, fingerprinting stations, and community exhibits will continue after the race portion concludes. Visitors will also have access to multiple free parking garages located throughout Crocker Park. Coordinators frequently rely on poster printing to advertise events like this one to the broader community.
The Crocker Bark 5K begins at 9:30 a.m. on June 14, 2026, followed by the Block Party from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Crocker Park, 189 Crocker Park Boulevard, Westlake, Ohio.
