The Elyria High School Class of 1985 will get back together 40 years on, with a two-day event honoring decades of friendship, memories, and community.
Organized by the class reunion committee, the weekend will feature gatherings, music, and tributes to classmates no longer around.
Festivities begin on Friday, September 12, with a casual morning meet-and-greet at Just One More in Elyria from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. This will include a light brunch, mimosas, and games. That evening, from 7:00 to 10:00 pm, attendees will gather at Wagner’s of Westlake for a memorial event titled Never Forgotten. The evening will include appetizers, dessert, a cash bar, and music bingo, with DJ Jeremy from JDJ Mobile Entertainment spinning classic hits.
On Saturday, September 13, a morning tour of Elyria High School will offer a nostalgic look back from 10:00 to 11:30 am. The weekend will conclude with the main event, A Night to Remember, at Wagner’s of Westlake from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm, featuring a buffet dinner, dessert, cash bar, and semi-formal attire.
Tickets for the reunion are priced at $60 per person, with a limit of two per guest. Ticket sales will close this Friday, August 1. No refunds will be issued.
When hosting reunion events such as this one, organizers may be interested in providing printed memorabilia to attendees, and may use printing services to do this.
Wagner’s of Westlake can be found at 30855 Center Ridge Road.
