Westlake area to host knitting event

There will be a chunky blanket knitting class taking place near Westlake this February.

The workshop will allow attendees to create a hand-knitted blanket and a custom soy candle. The event will be open to all skill levels and will provide step-by-step guidance. Attendees will have multiple yarn colors to choose from, including navy, ivory, taupe, lilac, gray, pink, and coffee.

The base package includes four yarn skeins to knit the lap-sized throw, and additional skeins will be available for purchase for those wishing to craft a bigger blanket. When designing the soy candles attendees will have over 24 fragrances to choose from.

Only individuals aged 13 and older can attend the event. The entry fee is $75 per individual, regardless of age. For those interested in obtaining an extra yarn skein, the cost will be $15, while it will be $20 for those interested in crafting a scented candle. Registration must be completed online, with no walk-ins accepted on the day. A confirmation email will be sent once payment is made. Guests can cancel and receive a full refund if requests are made 48 hours in advance.
