There are many wonderful activities around this time of year, but not every event has Santa Claus, his reindeer, and Frosty the Snowman on skates. They will all be in North Olmsted soon for the annual ‘Santa Skate’.
Betsy Drenski, North Olmsted's Recreation Commissioner, said the ‘Santa Skate’ event has been held for over 20 years, and it is extremely popular, usually drawing between 200 and 400 people.
Attendees can have their pictures taken with Santa, or with his reindeer, or both, for free. Alternatively, they can just visit with the Jolly Old Elf. Frosty the Snowman will take to the ice, while holiday music is played by a DJ. Organizers of events like this could consider taking the opportunity to use Logo Design to create a new emblem for the fun.
After the Santa Skate, the Cleveland Ice Storm will perform. This is a synchronized skating group based in North Olmsted, and features more than 100 skaters from Northeast Ohio performing duets, solos, and group numbers.
Admission to ‘Santa Skate’ is $4 per person, which includes $2.50 to rent skates. In addition, the Cleveland Ice Storm and the North Olmsted Recreation Center will both accept canned food on behalf of the Oxcart Pantry.
The Santa Skate is scheduled for December 16, from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm, in the North Olmsted Recreation Center. Holiday treats will be served at no charge.Get a Free Quote for Logo Design
