A golf outing is planned in North Olmsted that will be the last in a series of annual events.
The Jeff Phillips Memorial Golf Outing will be held for the 25th and final time this summer. Organizers promise an exceptional day that includes a round of golf, live music, a catered dinner, a raffle, and more.
The outing is a fundraiser for the Jeff Phillips Memorial Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to the memory of Jeff Phillips, who died in a traffic accident when he was only 17. The funds raised are used for a scholarship that is granted to a high school senior who, while perhaps not at the top academically, has demonstrated a drive improve.
The outing is scheduled for July 17 am at the Springvale Golf Course & Ballroom, at 5871 Canterbury Road in North Olmsted. The day begins with check-in at 8.00 am, followed by a shotgun start at 9.00 am. The band will begin playing at 4.00 pm, and dinner will be served at 5.00 pm. Attractive programs for events like this can be created by brochure printing.
Anyone who wants to join in the fun must make a reservation and pay by June 30 to secure their spot. In addition, dinner is available for non-golfers, but payment for the meal must be received by July 3. Finally, all guidelines from the CDC about COVID-19 that are in effect at the time of the outing must be followed.
