As the weather warms up, an annual event has gone back on the schedule in North Olmsted.
Westside Flea 2021 is a flea market that is set up for months during the summer in the North Olmsted Community Park. There are more than 100 vendors at the site who offer handcrafted items for people on all budgets. Among the goods for sale are stained glass, antiques, wood crafts, candles, items for pets, crafts, jewelry, art, locally grown produce, live music, and more. Since local vendors are providing most of the items, the market is a great way to support the community.
In addition to the vendors, tea and coffee vendors will be on hand, along with food trucks. A Kids Fun Zone with games, friendly alpacas, a face painter and a balloon artist are traditionally part of the market. A small raffle is also traditional, and for a $1 donation, some lucky shopper will win an item, worth $10 or more, from one of the vendors.
Market organizers place the safety and health of attendees above all else and will ensure precautions are in place if necessary. Flyer printing can be used to create reminders of the regulations for attendees at events like this.
The Westside Flea 2021 season begins June 12, with markets to follow each month on July 17, August 21, and September 18. There is no admission charge, and the market is open every day from 9.00 am until 3.00 pm.
