A meetup will be held at the Rocky River Nature Center in North Olmsted for those participating in a 5K fundraiser for the Brain Injury Association of Ohio.
The Cere-bration Walk, Roll, Run is an event where people can help raise money for those impacted by brain injuries. The funds will support the programs offered by the Brain Injury Association of Ohio. Prizes will be given to participants who create the largest fundraising teams and the team with the most money earned. There is also a prize for the individual who registers the furthest distance away from the zip code 43081.
The Brain Injury Association of Ohio is an organization that has been providing services to those with brain injuries for over 30 years. The group helps advocate for people impacted by brain damage and offers many educational programs. A few of the events held by the association include the Fall Prevention at Home seminar and the Ohio Brain Injury Summit. The organization even offers free workshops for survivors of brain injuries and their caregivers.
The meetup will be held on Saturday, September 9th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. There will also be another in-person event offered at the Westerville Sports Complex on Sunday, September 10th from 9:00 am to noon.
