Kids in North Olmsted can visit the Rocky River Nature Center at night in January.
Goodnight Nature Center Camp is a program where children can play at the Rocky River Nature Center after normal operational hours. Campers at the event will learn about the behaviors of different animals at night and take part in an arts and crafts project. Kids will also be allowed to explore the nature center. Each camper will receive a snack. The intended age range for the program is children aged 5-7.
The Rocky River Nature Center is a building where locals can learn more about the wildlife in their community and discover information about the animals that used to live in the Rocky River Valley. There are outdoor gardens around the facility to explore, and children can check out venue exhibits such as HideAway Hollow. The trails by the nature center can take hikers to local ponds, hilltops, and a wetland forest. People may also book the facility for their events.
The night winter camp experience at the nature center will be held on Wednesday, January 3rd from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Kids are allowed to wear their pajamas to the event, and parents are advised to leave their children at the center. The cost of the program is $15 per kid. Nature centers that host similar experiences for children can use poster printing to make advertisements.
