New developments coming to Fairview Park in 2017

Several new projects will get underway soon in Fairview Park, including two new restaurants.

Late in March, the former Minerva Family Restaurant near Westgate on Center Ridge Road will be razed. In its place, two new restaurants will be built: a Panda Express and a Red Robin. The Minerva Family Restaurant had been in business for decades, but closed in 2016.

Another development in the city will rework the empty National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) buildings, located on Brookpark Road. The zoning code for the parcel has been approved to allow the K building to be turned into 100 high-end apartments, while the L building will become a boutique hotel offering 59 rooms. There is an auditorium in the K building that will be transformed into a state-of-the-art meeting and event space, and conference rooms and offices will be created on the first floor. A swimming pool is also in the plans.

A new building three stories high, offering additional hotel rooms and a restaurant, will be sited next to the L building. The entire project is expected to cost $40. Mayor Eileen Patton said the development will celebrate the connection of the site to the space program.

Projects like this can benefit if developers work with brochure printers, who can create illustrated Booklets that can be used to show potential clients and tenants the amenities of the new developments.
